Kate, one of our SEND workers here at Ruby’s has been on an important mission to London to speak at the Houses of Parliament. Kate is one of 8 people involved in writing a booklet and website highlighting 12 top tips for school readiness and celebrating the benefit Parent/Carer Toddler Groups have in relation to setting children up to succeed. There were between 30-40 people there from all over the country including group leaders, MP’s, teachers and professors. Kate said ‘it was encouraging to hear Helen Hayes, shadow minister for Children and Early Years and Stephen Timms MP express their support for the project too’.

Ruby’s are very proud of Kate for all her hard work and for the invitation to speak about her contribution to the project. For more information about this project please visit the website to find out more.
