Sensory Bus

In 2020 Ruby’s Fund were fortunate to receive a grant with which we purchased our fantastic mobile sensory bus, affectionately known as our “big pink bus’. The bus is fully accessible with a wheelchair lift and the sensory equipment on board includes:

• Bubble tube
• Fibre optics
• Vibrating wall panels
• Wall and ceiling projector
• Tactile wall and floor panels
• Convex mirrors
• Wall padding and cushion seating

The mobile sensory bus is used to deliver sessions as part of our sensory and short breaks services and is also available for hire to schools and settings around Cheshire East.

The Stephanie Jeanne Glynn Foundation has kindly has awarded Ruby’s with a grant to cover the running costs of our mobile sensory bus. This includes MOT, servicing and the wheelchair lift servicing. We are very grateful for their support.
