On Thursday 9 October, Ruby’s Fund hosted its very first ‘Thank You Event’ at the beautiful Lion & Swan in Congleton. This special evening was dedicated to expressing our heartfelt gratitude to the donors and supporters who make everything we do possible.
Guests were welcomed with canapés and drinks, enjoyed the opportunity to connect with others in the Ruby’s community, and took part in our pledge tree activity, committing their continued support for the year ahead. There were also chances to win some exclusive Ruby’s merchandise, adding a fun twist to the evening.
During the event, we heard inspiring words from our Chairperson, Andy Pear, and a member of the Ruby’s team, who spoke about the impact of your support.
We also shared a short video about our sensory bus outreach project, which has been visiting schools and nurseries across Crewe to provide specialist support for children, parents, and professionals. This project recently earned Ruby’s an Innovation Award from Bentley, and we were proud to share this achievement with you.
The evening was filled with warmth, conversation, and a shared commitment to building a more inclusive community.
