Exciting News: Our lift installation is happening!
From the very start of our centre, I dreamed of making it fully accessible. We are thrilled to have secured planning permission and funding from generous, supportive donors to install a lift to make our first floor accessible to anyone who struggles with the stairs.
Back in 2013, I had never opened or run a sensory centre and café before –every day was a learning experience. Today, I still feel the same! Installing a lift has been a whole new challenge, and as a team, we are navigating this journey together. There’s far more involved than I ever expected.
Please bear with us as we complete the necessary preparation work. This work will cause some disruption to our usual timetable, but we believe the long-term benefits will far outweigh the short-term inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and support!
