SEND groups and activities
At Ruby’s we run a variety of different support groups and activities across the Cheshire East area.
They can all be booked through our dedicated booking site.
Teatime club
Our teatime club, for SEND children and their families, is a play session held in our main activity hall and social cafe.
SEND Wednesdays
A safe space for parents and carers of children with additional or emerging needs.
Saturday SEND Family Social
A Saturday Family SEND Social is for registered families with children with additional needs.
Siblings Wellbeing and Social Group
The group supports siblings of children with special educational needs and/or a disability to enjoy social activities.
Sensory support
We have created a sensory resource library and a training programme called Sensory Detectives which we use to support parents of children with emerging sensory processing differences.
Short breaks 0-8 years
Ruby’s is commissioned by Cheshire East Council to offer short breaks for children aged 0 – 8 years with SEND (subject to a needs-based assessment).
