Thriving families is the umbrella name for the family support services which Ruby’s Fund delivers. We have a number of projects ongoing and a new team who are responsible for delivering these.   Whilst our sensory centre and café is located in Congleton we provide outreach services across the whole of Cheshire East.

The overall aim of Ruby’s Fund’s Thriving Families services is to provide early help for families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to ensure they stay well and avoid reaching crisis point.  The range of services are outlined below – we provide help for the whole family unit, ranging from support for SEND children (pre diagnosis, pan-disability, early years and beyond), parent carers (of all gender) and siblings.  Some of our most popular services are short breaks for children with SEND (0-8), SEND play sessions, parent carer peer support groups, counselling, free massages and complementary therapies and sibling friendships groups.
