Short Breaks

Ruby’s provides small group and one-to-one short break sessions for children aged 0-8 years with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The sessions are supported by staff on a 1:1 basis and we provide short break sessions for up to 8 children at a time. Sessions are supported by staff on a 1:1 basis and the sessions are for up to 8 children. Funders for our short breaks offer are: Cheshire East Council & Wain Foundation Short breaks eligibility criteria for your child is: 0-8 years old (we can provide support until they turn 9 years old) Permanently living in Cheshire East Has a SEND diagnosis or emerging needs confirmed by a professional Was registered with Ruby’s Fund Short Breaks team at least 6 weeks before the next school holiday and has a completed care plan, risk assessment and attended the first settling in visit. For families not yet registered with Ruby’s please self refer. If you are already registered for our services you can register your child for short breaks using this form.
