How we support our families

Home 5 Information for Families 5 How we support our families

Ruby’s has over 12 years’ experience of supporting children in Cheshire East with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families and carers.

We run sessions and support at our centre in Congleton, on our mobile sensory bus, in homes and within other Cheshire East community settings.

Example sessions and support:

  • Peer support (e.g. parent carer lunch clubs, siblings sessions)
  • Short breaks for SEND children age 0-8
  • Family support (e.g. family sessions, signposting, advice)
  • Sensory support (including our sensory outreach vehicle and resource library)
  • Workshops and training for families and professionals
