Ruby’s Fund Covid wellbeing response outreach project aims to support children and their families who are struggling with low level mental health conditions, their emotional wellbeing and anxiety related to accessing short breaks at the centre, returning back to normal life and going out into the community including to the family home, school and other settings in Cheshire East.

Our Outreach Team will visit children and families in our mobile sensory bus working on a one to one or small group basis with measurable outcomes.

Inside the pink bus is a sensory room which is fully accessible with a wheelchair lift. To be able to visit we need enough space to manoeuvre the bus which is 6 metres long and we need an electricity supply. If the team are visiting you for the day they will require access to toilets.

This project has been funded for 6 months and will run until the end of May 2021.

To support this project we have developed a sensory differences workbook for staff in settings.
