Ruby’s Fund are looking for a fun, active, enthusiastic, motivated and creative sensory problem solver with experience of working with disabled children, young people and their families.
We are recruiting a playworker to join our team based in Congleton but will be required to work across Cheshire East. This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-established local charity to help improve the wellbeing and life chances of disabled children and their families as part of an Early Help Sensory Support project.
Ruby’s Fund provides unique opportunities for children and young people to play, learn new skills and knowledge and to develop confidence and self-esteem.
Suitable candidates will have experience of working with disabled children and young people in a play environment and an ability to engage children of all ages and abilities in a range of play opportunities.
The applicant must be confident with IT and be willing to drive our mobile sensory vehicle. Due to insurance requirements, this role is only open to candidates with a clean driving licence and aged over 30 years old.
Hours: 16 hours per week includes some evenings and weekends
