Ruby’s Fund are a charitable organisation in Cheshire East.  We have been commissioned by Cheshire East Council to deliver a Volunteer Family Support Service which will provide face to face, telephone and online support to families who need some extra help to get them on their feet. We aim to build confidence, knowledge and resilience and help families thrive. 

Here is the support offer available: 

  • Specialist one to one support 
  • Information, signposting and guidance 
  • Support to access community, health and wellbeing services 
  • New families’ sessions facilitated by Family and Volunteer Co-ordinators across Cheshire East 

We have various volunteer roles available including (click here for role descriptions): 

  • Befriending and mentoring 
  • Practical and emotional support 
  • Support for activity sessions eg. family play groups 
  • Driving and assistance for our sensory bus 

A variety of days and times are available ranging from an hour a week to several hours a month.
