Sensory Garden

The William Dean Countryside and Educational Trust awarded a £25,000 donation to transform the outdoor space at Ruby’s, to create a sensory garden. A covered area is in place with a transparent rainbow roof casting colours on the floor in the sunshine, mud kitchens, water activity walls, a wormery, flooring, climbing frames and wheelchair friendly seating and flooring.

In summer we offer a variety of outdoor sensory activities including gardening and planting of sensory plants.

We are delighted to have the support of the Willian Dean Trust and our sensory garden has been transformed with their donation.

It is already proving a big hit with the children and their families. The improved facilities mean that we can use the garden all year round which increases the support offer we can provide to our families.
