This privacy policy outlines the intentions of Ruby’s Fund, 92 Leek Road, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 3HX, in relation to the information you provide when you access and use this website.

Ruby’s Fund is committed to ensuring any information provided is looked after and therefore your privacy protected.  As part of becoming a member of the Charity you will be asked to provide information about yourself.  Any information that is provided will be used in accordance with this privacy statement and in line with the Data Protection Act (please see out Data Protection Policy).

We reserve the right to chance this policy at any point so we recommend you check this page from time to time to ensure you are happy with any changes.

What we collect

In order to register as a member of the Charity we will ask the following information:

  • contact information including email address
  • other information about yourself that you may wish to share

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We will send you newsletters about the continuing work of Ruby’s Fund
  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may periodically send promotional email about events or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Ruby’s Fund uses WordPress to manage it’s website.  WordPress uses cookies to verify who our visitors are once they are logged in to the site and for anyone who comments.  Cookies are used to keep track of a user being logged in.  We will not use cookies to analyse any data.

We will treat your private information with respect and will do our best to keep information about you accurate and up to date.  We will ensure your information is kept secure and only those staff who are entitled to see it, will have access to it.

In particular, we will use information about you on the following basis:-

  1. Notifying you of forthcoming Annual General Meetings
  2. Notifying you of any information relating to the progress of Ruby’s Fund
  3. Notifying you of any forthcoming events

By doing that we are able to:-

  • Provide you with a better level of service and ensure our information is kept accurate and up to date.

When we no longer have a need to keep information about you, we will dispose of it in a secure, confidential manner.

It is important to us that we provide you with a high level of service.  Please notify us if you are moving address or changing your name and we will try and keep all of our records up to date with your correct name and address details.
