The street parties are a tribute to Jo Cox MP who died in tragic circumstances , her husband has asked we celebrate her ethics. As well as campaigning around diversity and human rights, Jo was also concerned about loneliness, which is an issue in our towns and rural areas. If you are holding or attending an event, perhaps think about whether there is someone who lives on their own in your neighbourhood, who would appreciate being asked to come along and join in.

“Connected people are happier and healthier and I can’t think of a better tribute to Jo than for us all to connect and celebrate living in our local community.”

The address is Roe Street, Congleton, CW12 1PG. Please use the nearby carparks for parking as the street is closed.
